What do you mean there's a murderous campaign in the end times?

For those of you paying attention, in my previous post I mentioned a "murderous campaign" that the Bible depicts happening in the time before the return of Christ.  You might be wondering what I am referring to.

These aren't favorite verses that hang on our refrigerator.  These are sobering realities that John saw on the Isle of Patmos two thousand years ago.  They are meant to strengthen the church living in the final days before Jesus returns. And if these prophecies are to be fulfilled in our life time, we are definitely gonna need them.

There are two realities that John sees that are involved in this end-time campaign of murder.  The first is what he calls the "beast."

Revelation chapter 13 makes a startling claim:

"Also it [the beast] was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them."

The second reality that John sees is what he calls the "prostitute."  This prostitute's name is Babylon the Great.  The bible explains that a single city will arise in the end times as the center of global government, religion, economics, and culture.  The ideology that underlies the city will be an idolatrous spirituality that denies the Lord, Jesus.

The Bible lays these charges at the prostitute/city in Revelation 17.6 and 18.24

"And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of the martyrs of Jesus."

"And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all who have been slain on earth.”

Is it possible that we see in Scripture a future campaign to eliminate everyone who will not merge with machine intelligence?  It may seem like a stretch at first, but if the mark of the beast is ultimately a digital interface that merges human minds with artificial intelligence which ultimately falls under the control of the Antichrist, then it follows that true Christians will refuse the digital merge and potentially suffer capital consequences.

I realize what I am saying is deeply troubling.  But if my concerns are accurate, we need to begin to act now.
